JOB SUMMARY

The role will be part of the Insights, Planning & Brand Strategy team in the Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing function, within the Strategy & Talent organisation. This role will provide programme management and Project Management Office (PMO) leadership and support to establish, maintain and track ways of working, scope and timelines of key CABM initiatives.

The role requires a collaborative, motivated and engaged individual who is comfortable navigating complex environments. Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting or leading cross-functional projects at a project and/or programme level, exposure or experience working in a highly regulated and agile environment with proven consultancy, business acumen and relationship building skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

• The job holder will be required to be self-motivated and own key elements of delivery as part of the wider team and work with minimal supervision
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Strategic Planning – engage stakeholders to identify and assess project requirements and align them with the bank’s overall business objectives
• Be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative. Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear sense of accountability in performing the role

Business

• Own E2E delivery of key projects, through their lifecycle, to agreed budget and quality
• Work closely with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and drive sign-off of key milestones
• Prioritize and plan initiatives and projects by working together with stakeholders and other internal teams
• Manage the Project investment budget. Drive a disciplined budget process and accurate forecasting, including the development of capacity plans as required, to deliver on budget outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships (if applicable) and monitor tightly on spend and progress against delivery schedules
• Communicate project progress, risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders
• Ensure project deliverables are of high quality and meet the bank’s legal and regulatory requirements

Processes

• Lead the implementation of projects/process improvement initiatives, as directed
• Manage project backlogs and planning sessions. Facilitate stand-up meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Have awareness and understanding of the Project ECM team requirements and guidelines on how to run agile projects internally
• Coordinate and consider inputs from all teams involved
• Prepare agendas, meeting materials and minutes from all project meetings
• Maintain all project artefacts and updates to the project knowledge base
• Maintain up to date and accurate plans, risk and issue management, status reporting and schedule management on in scope projects
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to build relationships both within a team and external departments/stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, HR, Finance or related discipline
• PMP, Prince 2, ITIL, Scrum Master (Desirable)
