Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer

Job description

Our client is a global leader MNC well known for managing and delivering high-tech facilities projects ranging from design, engineering, procurement and construction services. They have an experienced in-house teams for mechanical, electrical and process engineering works from conceptual design to handover stages.

Job Description:

• Responsible for detailed designing of Electrical system for industrial projects
• Preparing design checklist and tracking process
• Tendering and estimating of electrical works for projects
• Responsible for design of High Voltage switchgear and Low Voltage switchboards, motor control systems, transformer, generators, High & Low Voltage Cable systems, lighting and small power systems for Clean room, Industrial Facilities or Commercial Building
• Perform design calculation for project execution, such as short circuit calculation, load flow, cable sizing and lighting calculation.
• Responsible in assigned electrical packages during construction phase
• Responsible in scheduling administration for Electrical supervisors
• Perform interface activity with other parties and incorporate their requirements into electrical design

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Min 6-10 years of relevant experience for high-tech industrial / pharmaceutical plant / data-center projects
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering Design and construction for High Voltage and Low Voltage systems from Design, Commissioning to Handover
• Knowledgeable in lighting design, cable calculations, short circuit calculations and local code of practice for design implementation
