Site Manager

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management

· Assists Project Manager to execute project effectively and mitigates risk.

· Oversees project engineers & supervisors to ensure client & regulatory requirements are met

· To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress

· To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work & materials

· To control the allocation of the direct workforce effectively

· To resolve site issues with sub con

· Implements project objectives to align with company goals.

Project Budget Control

· Controls material wastages on site.

· Controls the usage of machineries/equipments/utilities on site.

· Controls direct labour costs i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.

· Meet targeted progress of works so as to achieve the intended cash flow.

Technical Understanding

· Understands the drawings and able to identify discrepancies.

· Understands the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the Project Manager’s objectives.

· Involve in providing value engineering solutions.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

Leadership

· To be able to lead subordinates to achieve excellence in the project.

· To assist the Project Manager to manage changes within the project team effectively.

Teamwork

· To reinforce the team including sub-contractors cohesively on internal initiatives.

· Supports and solicits input from team members at all levels within the organization.

Client Management

· Communicates effectively with consultants to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions (Quality).

· Ensures practice delivers superior solutions (Quality) towards the project.
