SAP Finance and Procurement Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) and Procurement (MM/SRM) Architect to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions for financial accounting, procurement, and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Implementation
   • Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA), CO (PCA, CCA, Profitability Analysis), MM (Procurement, Inventory), and SRM solutions.
   • Define best practices for SAP S/4HANA Finance & Procurement processes.
   • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and procurement policies.
2. Integration & Optimization
   • Architect end-to-end integration between SAP FI/CO, MM, SRM, and other modules (SD, PP, PS).
   • Optimize procurement workflows (Purchase-to-Pay), vendor management, and financial reporting.
   • Work with BTP, Fiori, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for enhanced reporting.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
   • Partner with finance, procurement, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
   • Conduct workshops to gather business needs and propose SAP-driven improvements.
4. Governance & Compliance
   • Ensure adherence to SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements.
   • Implement security roles and authorization concepts for FI/MM processes.
5. Upgrades & Innovation
   • Drive SAP S/4HANA migrations and new feature implementations.
   • Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (AI, ML, RPA) for finance/procurement automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• Experience:
  • More than 10 Years of SAP experience with 6 years in SAP FI, MM, with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (e.g., New GL, Asset Accounting, CO-PA).
  • Strong knowledge of Procurement processes (P2P, Contracts, Sourcing).
  • Integration experience with Concur, Ariba, or other third-party tools.
• Certifications (Preferred): SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or related certifications.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
• Knowledge of BRIM (Billing & Revenue Innovation Management).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
