Java Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs using Java. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications are scalable, efficient, and secure. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and microservices.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless software solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
