Project Director (Construction)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory processes, compliance requirements, and stakeholder management within the construction sector. This role requires strategic planning, execution excellence, and the ability to navigate regulatory landscapes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from planning to execution and completion.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders to facilitate approvals and compliance.
• Ensure projects adhere to legal, safety, and quality standards in alignment with industry regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Drive risk management initiatives, troubleshooting project challenges proactively.
• Represent the company in high-level negotiations and project discussions with government and corporate partners.
• Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a high-performance work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in working with government agencies and regulatory bodies, with a demonstrated understanding of approval processes and compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
• Deep understanding of local construction laws, permits, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with state-owned enterprises (SOEs) or government-backed projects.
