GARDENER(Bukit Timah)

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of plants, trees and shrubs. Be able to identify them and know their characteristics and how to maintain them.
• Able to identify the problems with plants, trees and shrubs. Know why they are not growing well and take necessary actions as a gardener to overcome these problems.
• Able to design, propose improvement and enhancement of landscape in NJC.
• Know the operations of the school environment and be able to
• work in a school environment while observing the safety and operational requirements.
• Have keen interest in landscaping and gardening.

Requirements

• Able to identify the different plants, trees & shrub and know their characteristics and how to maintain them.
• Able to identify the problems with plants, trees and shrubs. Know why they are not growing well and take necessary actions as a gardener to overcome these problems.
• Skill in designing, propose necessary improvement and enhancement of the landscape in NJC.
• Able to work independently.
• At least completed PSLE.

Working Timings

Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch

break

• Saturdays: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Service not required on Sundays and gazetted public holidays
