SAP Hana Data Modeller

We are looking for a skilled SAP HANA Data Modeller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP HANA and data modelling concepts, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of SAP solutions. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient data models in SAP HANA using best practices for performance optimization.

• Create calculation views, analytical views, and attribute views based on business requirements.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Optimize HANA data models for query performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Work with ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data into SAP HANA systems.

• Perform data integration and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Support SAP HANA database administration, including monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and technical designs.

• Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business users, to deliver robust data solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an SAP HANA Data Modeller with 8 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, data modelling, and SQL scripting.

• Proficiency in creating calculation views, analytic views, and attribute views.

• Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP BODS, and other SAP tools is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
