Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer (Solar Installation) to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of solar PV installation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and layout of solar PV systems and any related drawings.
Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar panels and associated electrical systems.
Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure project timelines, technical quality and safety requirements are met.
Conduct site surveys and prepare technical documentation.
Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of solar systems.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Prepare documents and any related paperwork for the licensed electrical worker (LEW) to do the SP submission and grid connection.
Maintain accurate project records and reports.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in solar installation or electrical work.
Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical components.
Knowledge in the CAD
Familiar with safety procedures and relevant local codes (e.g., EMA regulations, SCDF regulations, SP requirements).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Able to work at heights and under outdoor conditions.
Willing to travel to different project sites within Singapore.
A class 3 driver license is a plus
