We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an Intern in the Future Horizons team in delivering projects within the Wellness category in Haleon. This will be a 6-month internship and preference will be given to candidates who can commit full-time for the internship period.
The Intern will work under the supervision of the Senior Scientist, Wellness – Future Horizons and work with cross-functional teams across the organization to provide appropriate and timely input into our R&D projects.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be required to:
Execution Powerhouse

Conduct literature review and map research landscape to identify novel research paradigms in areas of interest relevant to Haleon Global wellness strategy.

Support the screening and evaluation of external technologies and/or product opportunities for further development to Haleon brands in Global Wellness strategy.

Drive progress for one or more platforms in service of Future Horizons (FH) Wellness team.

Design and carry out scientific work with an awareness of state-of-the-art technology.

Create research plans to fit overall project objective in partnership with local FH resources.

Support drafting of research proposals and mapping of potential claims to technology development.

Maintain awareness of scientific literature to assist work progression and understanding, as well as, an awareness of consumer and competitor trends driving industry growth.

Build relationships with Future Horizons partners to deliver innovation programs.

Educational background – Undergraduates currently pursuing a Degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Engineering or related science (Food Science), Biological Sciences, Bioengineering.
