Job Posting for Area Contract Logistics Business Development Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel
You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your expertise skills to the delivery of Business Growth.
Your Role
Your primary objective will be to support the development of existing or new Contract Logistics business at a country or cluster level by coordinating all business development activities.
Your Responsibilities
You will do this by working with a variety of internal external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives:
To ensure that pipeline opportunities are managed in a compliant way while ensuring adherence to the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
To support in the creation of high quality business proposals other related presentations.
To act as the coordination point for all marketing activities (events, mailings, publications etc.).
To capture manage business market intelligence.
To support the highlighting of achievements in the business development space.
To drive roll-out yearly business development plans for the specified vertical.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the contract logistics or warehousing industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel for business-related activities.
