Job Description

We are looking for committed and detail-oriented Chemical Technicians to join our operations team on Jurong Island . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining process equipment safely and efficiently, supporting plant reliability and productivity. This role is ideal for candidates with prior plant experience and those comfortable with shift-based work in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct minor maintenance and routine checks on process systems.
• Start-up and shutdown pumps, compressors , and other key equipment.
• Perform filter changes and assist in isolating piping systems during operations or troubleshooting.
• Adjust process parameters under supervisor guidance to optimize plant performance.
• Support commissioning and decommissioning of plant equipment.
• Respond to emergency shutdowns and execute emergency drills.
• Handle and blend non-conforming or off-spec products according to protocols.
• Prepare plant systems and equipment for maintenance activities.
• Mix and dilute chemicals for process use and perform inter-tank transfers as needed.
• Participate in regular emergency response drills and safety procedures.

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in chemical or process plant operations.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks and chemical handling procedures.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts (3223 pattern) .
• Good communication skills, team player, and safety-conscious.

Compensation & Benefits

• Shift Allowance: S$725
• Site Allowance: S$200
• Night Shift Allowance: S$40 per night
• AWS & Variable Bonus (VB)
• Transport provided from Jurong East MRT
