Job Scope:
Integrate core early childhood development concepts (birth to 7 years) into a specialized language curriculum.
Collaborate with learning support teams to enhance language acquisition and literacy skills.
Utilize tailored observation and documentation methods to monitor progress in cognitive, social, and physical domains aligned with developmental milestones.
Adapt teaching materials and strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and interests.
Strengthen language proficiency through interactive shared, buddy, and individual reading sessions incorporating songs, music, and movement.
Design engaging, play-based language activities that promote respect, responsiveness, and reciprocity per established early childhood theories.
Build robust family partnerships via timely communication and resource sharing to ensure continuity of language development between centre and home.
Work collaboratively with programme and non-programme staff to uphold high standards for SPARK accreditation and address children’s needs
Requirements:
Certificate in Preschool Mother Tongue Language (CPMRL), Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or an equivalent ECDA-recognized qualification.
Minimum three GCE ‘O’ Level credits, with at least a B4 in Malay and a C6 in English.
At least two years of relevant experience with young children.
Strong understanding of current early childhood development theories and practices.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Familiarity with ECDA policies, regulations, and quality assurance frameworks.
Provide support for Jamiyah Singapore and Jamiyah Kindergarten events.
