Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with department heads to identify community needs and develop outreach programs accordingly.
Assist Manager/HOD to create comprehensive program plans, including objectives, strategies, budgets, and timelines.
Execute outreach programs in accordance with established plans.
Coordinate logistics, resources, and volunteers for program activities.
Ensure that programs are delivered efficiently and within budget.
Foster relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
Engage with community members to gather input and feedback to inform program improvements.
Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact.
Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
Prepare regular reports on program progress, outcomes, and challenges.
Maintain detailed records of program activities and expenditures.
Provide training and support to program staff and volunteers.
Organize workshops and capacity-building sessions for community members.
Ensure programs adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Maintain transparency and accountability in program activities.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, or related disciplines).
Proven experience in community development or outreach programs, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of community development principles and best practices, is advantageous.
Willingness to travel to various community locations as needed.
Adaptable to changes, proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, collaborative, self-motivated and a strong desire to excel.
