Contract 12 months Logistic Coordinator Support

Position Summary

The position will be a member of local operational logistics teams reporting to the local Site Logistics leader, responsible for inventory replenishment and management at Third Party Logistics sites including scheduling and coordinate day to day operational activities.

The role will require a strong background in planning across various time horizons, and ability to make risk adjusted decisions in a dynamic supply chain environment. Effective and timely communication with internal stakeholders to highlight potential supply continuity risks and driving mitigative actions.

Be a key contributor to S4 Hana implementation, facilitate continuous improvement activities at Third Party Logistics sites, he/she will support root-cause analysis of complaints or non-conformances for assigned sites and participate in site and relevant 3rd party service performance reviews.


Key Outputs: What we can expect from you

  • Daily review of replenishment to ensure an optimal process in order to achieve given inventory targets while ensuring on time fulfillment to customers through optimal inventory replenishment
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Planning team to provide operational insights on inventory target setting
  • Routine review of replenishment to ensure an optimal process in order to achieve given inventory targets while ensuring on time fulfillment to customers through optimal inventory replenishment
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Planning team to provide operational insights on inventory target setting, and with Sales Accounts and Demand Planners to steward supply for new businesses or product rollovers
  • Collaborate closely with Client affiliates to identify tightness in supply and making agile adjustments in replenishments to ensure supply continuity
  • Coordinate day to day operational activities at assigned Third Party Logistics sites
  • Enforce compliance with agreed standard operating procedures
  • Provide SAP R3 and SAP S4 Hana transactional support for the sites, where applicable
  • Performing consolidation and planning of freight orders in Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Handle freight payables and accessorial charges for deliveries ex assigned sites in TMS
  • Handle order exceptions at assigned sites
  • Develop and communicate drumming schedule including SAP transactions
  • Inventory stewardship vs. communicated targets via proactive inventory management.
  • Participate in physical inventory count with 3rd party service provider.
  • Identify SMOG and coordinate disposal
  • Analyze package recertification date and coordinate recertification
  • Adopt DOIMS (Distribution Operating Integrity Management System) safety mindset within daily operational logistics responsibilities
  • Attend to daily ad-hoc operational issue and problem solving & negotiation skills are essential
  • Any additional responsibilities as assigned
