Job Responsibilities:

• Augment the client’s System Manager and collaborate with Ops Manager/End Users to provide
• oversight on the operations and maintenance activities for data network infrastructure and systems
• including but not limited to Incident and Problem Management, Change Management,
• Obsolescence and Vulnerabilities Management, Risk Management, Governance and Compliance
• Management, Quality Management and Service Improvement
• Lead and manage vendor’s O&S team in conducting fault analysis, problem resolution, preventive
• maintenance, obsolescence management, change management and vulnerabilities tracking, patch
• management, etc.
• Assist users with first level investigation of network faults/issues where necessary and ensure
• respective vendors are triggered to address incidents in a timely manner.
• Review vendor’s monthly O&S reports and provide summary reports to System Managers and Ops
• Managers on the system health, fault records, service reports, change request status,
• vulnerabilities updates, EOL status, over-and-above items, etc.
• Review vendor’s deliverables for operational and preventive maintenance activities.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of experience in the areas of core network support and maintenance, risk assessment,change requests, tech refresh, vulnerabilities assessment, patching, etc.Possesses valid certification in CCNA or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of networking with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting, problemisolation and diagnosis of network problems.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with vendors to manage SLA, plan and coordinate onsite activities,
• produce quality reports, value-add to deliverables and ensure compliance to policies andguidelines.
• Strong in written and verbal communications. Proven track record in stakeholder management withthe ability to manage expectations, address concerns and communicate effectively with SystemManagers and End Users.
• Prior working experience in defence organisations or government ministries requiring securityclearance is highly preferred.
• Resourceful and proactive, able to work independently and as a team player.
