Job Description:
➤1. Market research and competitive analysis (30%)
• Develop and refine market intelligence strategies to support sales planning and decision-making.
• Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
• Identify the competitive landscape in every region,
• Analyze import/export data for understanding of market shares.
➤2. Data analysis, reporting, and General Administrative /Other Duties (25%)
• Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for sales leadership.
• Identify customer preferences and pain points with our subsidiaries and dealers. e.g. surveys
• Create a competitive intelligence database to track industry trends and competitors.
• Any other tasks as assigned.
➤3. Sales strategy support, forecasting and Sustainability/Compliance (20%)
• Supporting forecasting efforts by accessing market demand, pricing trends, and customer behavior.
• Analyzing customer feedback and engagement data to identify areas for improvement.
• To conform to Company Environmental Practices.
➤4. Continuous improvement and process optimization (10%)
• Continuously monitor and refine the sales operational process to align business goals.
• Liaise with external vendors on process optimization works.
➤5.Cross-functional collaboration (15%)
• Collaborate with cross-functional inter-teams (Sales, Engineering, and Marketing) to align market intelligence with business goals.
Job Requirements:
➤Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in Statistics or Data Science.
• 3 years of experience in market analysis, sales operations, or related analytical roles.
• Experience in B2B markets and genset businesses is a plus.
➤Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insight and recommendation.
• Dashboard-making and reporting skills are a must.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
➤Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training, physical or mental abilities required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
• Self-motivated with a passion for market intelligence and strategic analysis.
• Able to travel overseas (1-2 times per quarter).
