Data Steward

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Steward to support data management operations for our Data Cloud initiatives within the Data Strategy Group. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data governance, reconciliation, and quality management, along with proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing and monitoring data quality checks.
• Manage data reconciliation processes and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
• Handle queries from end users and ensure compliance with defined SLAs.
• Maintain and document technical and functional specifications related to data management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various teams to resolve data-related issues and improve data governance.
• Support major project initiatives within the Data Strategy Group.
• Utilize analytical skills to assess data trends and provide actionable insights.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data stewardship or data ownership roles.
• Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Python for data analysis and management.
• Strong experience in data quality monitoring, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent documentation skills for technical and functional specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and governance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Informatica for data integration and governance. Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Knowledge of Denodo for data virtualization.
