1 Year Contract Commercial Management Assistant Manager #NJN

About The Role

• The primary function of this role is to support ASEANZ Business Management in commercial management ranging from business analysis, business reports, sustainability and internal events coordination to ensure commercial excellences.
• Manages, monitors, implements and supports the implementation of Business Excellence initiatives such as Business Rule Management, Customer Relationship Management, Small Account’s Management etc in line with Performance Materials global and regional strategies.

Commercial Management

1. Business Monitoring and Reporting:

• Assist the Commercial Manager in preparing the monthly business report in timely manner.
• Work with ASEANZ Local Business Managers to collect mid-month and end-of-month forecasts with aim to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Assists Commercial Managers in the monthly monitoring of KPIs, which includes 3rd party sales report (volumes, net sales, average selling price, currency).

2. Sustainability:

• Coordinate and support ASEANZ team regarding to sustainability by liaising with Regional Supply Chain and Product Management

3. Ad-hoc:

• Coordinate and support internal events to ensure commercial excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Engineering Plastics, Polymer or Chemical industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Engineering plastics business value chain
• Experience in Plastics Compounding and/or Automotive Application development would be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions) and PowerPoint are a must. Proficiency in navigating Power BI is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse (BW) systems would be highly advantageous.
