Permanent Assistant Radiographer (Healthcare/Hospital) #HCGT

Job Description :

Patient Care and Preparation:

• Reassuring and preparing patients:Radiography assistants ensure patients are comfortable and understand the procedures, preparing them for x-rays or scans.
• Chaperone duties:They may act as a chaperon during examinations, assisting doctors and radiographers in the examination room.
• Basic patient care:Assisting with basic patient care activities, such as recording weight or ensuring the patient is comfortable.
• Transporting patients:Taking patients to and from other wards or departments.

Image Processing and Data Management:

• Assisting with image processing: Helping to process images and ensuring they are of high quality.
• Data entry: Entering patient data into the radiology information system.
• Maintaining records: Keeping track of patient records and request forms.

Equipment and Environment:

• Equipment maintenance: Performing routine equipment checks and reporting any faults.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment: Ensuring the radiology department is clean and hygienic, following infection control guidelines.
• Ordering supplies: Ordering and managing stocks of consumable items, such as dressings.

Administrative Tasks:

• Data collection: Collecting and organizing patient data.
• Administrative duties: Performing other administrative tasks, such as making calls to wards or sending emails.
• Following protocols: Adhering to departmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirement:

-Minimum of GCE N Level with experience

-Nurse who dont mind asssisting radiographer
