Job Responsibilities
Providing legal advice and counsel to Genting Singapore Limited, a company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Advising on a wide-range of matters including general corporate matters, corporate transactions (such as investments, m&a, joint ventures), financing and commercial contracts.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of contracts and agreements.
Ensuring compliance with and advising on the requirements of the SGX Listing Rules (including filings and public disclosures) and corporate governance principles and regulations (including advising on board meetings, corporate resolutions and company constitution).
Manage IP portfolio and related matters.
Provide support in managing the corporate secretariat team, including supporting Board meetings, overseeing regular reporting and filings with ACRA and the Gambling Regulatory Authority.
Preparing and delivering training/updates on key legal and compliance topics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Law and admitted to the Singapore Bar with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law and intellectual property law.
Able to handle matters independently and to exercise sound commercial judgment when balancing legal risks against business benefits.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Willingness to learn about new areas of work with a logical and enquiring approach to new challenges.
Able to work as part of a team and to supervise and manage other members of the team.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Regulatory compliance experience would be an advantage.
