Phlebotomist/ urgent req/ 3k max/1 yr contract

Job Title: PHLEBOTOMIST

Contract: 1 yr

Salary Range: S$3,000 pm

Work Location: MD6 - Centre for Translational Medicine, NUS, 14 Medical Dr, Singapore 117599

Responsibilities:

• Carry out phlebotomy, collection, simple processing (eg. pipetting and centrifugation) and storage of biological samples, and perform anthropometric measurements.

• Perform screening, informed consent understanding, assessment for suitability, risks and safety.

• Sort and label blood specimens for lab test processing.

• Manage biohazard and sharp disposals, desensitise clinical suites, etc

• Ensure patient identification matches official document and patient compliance with test requirement.

• Manage clinical procedures and participant interaction.

• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Phlebotomy

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience

• Candidates with nursing background is an added advantage

• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills • Able to work independently and as a team
