Purpose and Scope
Ensure that all ordering of materials, equipment, tools, etc. for the project conform fully with the relevant Legislation, SSC’s HSSEQ Management System, and any client contractual requirement
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Supervisor/Supervisor/Project Engineer in the ordering of materials, equipment, tools, etc. for the project from the online Approved Vendors List
Coordinate the order; receipt, issuance and stock take control of the materials and equipment belonging to the Company
Any discrepancies pertaining to identify or quantity of any project materials delivered to site shall be reported immediately to the Project Engineer for his/her action
Monitor the movement of equipment and tools and perform monthly stock-take of plant and tools
Ensure that valid examination and inspection certificates for all statutory equipment are submitted by the suppliers
Ensure that the relevant HSSEQ requirements are adhered to during the delivery (i.e. unloading & shifting) of the material/equipment and also ensure that the material and equipment are stored neatly and safely at the designated storage area at all times.
Ensure that the Company’s equipment and tools are scheduled for regular maintenance and maintained in good safe working condition at all times
Ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working condition and are safe for use before issuing them to the work personnel. He/she shall ensure that all defects/damages of the equipment and tools discovered/highlighted are rectified immediately
Monitor and record all waste disposal/removal from the project using the Waste Disposal/Removal Record
Qualification, Skills and Experience
Min "O" Level or equivalent qualification
Min 2 years of relevant experience
Only Singaporean may apply
Proficient in MS Office
