KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and participate in quality planning such as FMEA, control plan, mistake proofing, supplier qualifications
Lead in Quality Audit (First party and 2nd party audit of ISO 9001 System),
Maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS)
Lead in supplier quality and Supplier development management activities including supplier performance assessment, warranty and claim process and supplier certifications
Drive statistical methods in process control and continual improvement in process control and quality
Provide technical support during Project QA, installation, testing and commissioning.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required
Ensuring the compliance with all the specifications and requirements included in the signed EPC contracts .
Co-ordination with Safety / O&M / technical / engineering resources / customers and other stakeholders for QA/QC activities as needed
Develop and and maintain a non-conformance control system including issuing of non-conformance reports to the Suppliers/Contractor and ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective
Establish Supplier / Contractor development program which trains the contractors to conform to Sembcorp’s requirements and put in place a system to achieve the required standards
Manage and maintain NCR registry and drive stakeholders for closure
Perform FAT local and overseas for key critical components when required.
To understand and support QC activities when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree/ Diploma in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering discipline
Minimum 3-year working experience as a engineering engineer or QA engineer
Knowledge of the SS:638 & SS601 preferable
Holding a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certifications is preferred
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma quality concepts and tools is preferred

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Quality Management system and process
