Responsibilities
To inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe and optimal operating condition. Here are the details, including but not limited to:
Vehicle Inspection: Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to identify issues or malfunctions, both through visual examination and using diagnostic equipment.
Diagnosis: Identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles. This includes using diagnostic tools and interpreting error codes.
Repairs: Conducting necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, such as engine repairs, brake system repairs, transmission repairs, and more, to ensure vehicles function correctly and safely.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform basic maintenance such as oil change, filter change, tire change, and fluid services.
- Able to perform maintenance and repair on the air conditioning.
- Follow strict safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop.
- Use specialized diagnostics and tools to troubleshoot and pinpoint the root causes of problems.
- Able to service the air conditioning system.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs, and cost estimates, and addressing customers' questions and concerns.
- Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality.
- Specialize in specific areas of automotive repair if applicable.
- Carry out servicing as tasked by Supervisor & adhere to the servicing duration.
- Servicing carry out in accordance to checklist.
- Support recovery
- Carry out troubleshooting on electrical portion.
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Diploma/Higher NITEC in automotive. Minimum 1 years' experience in the automotive industry.
- Prior experience in the automotive servicing line (Preferred)
- Valid class 3 & 4 driving license
Location: Around Singapore
The candidate shall be assessed based on their years of experience and technical capabilities to determine the overall compensation package and seniority.
