Contract Sustainability Manager (Banking) at Raffles Place, up to $5000

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Sustainability Department in setting up engagement of stakeholders to advance sustainability outcomes. Example of stakeholders ranges from built environment professionals to students
• Coordinate bank’s group wide carbon abatement from tracking initiatives to aligning carbon offsets approach
• Contribute to the incorporation of sustainability design features into new development projects
• Conduct environmental scan of trends related to sustainable real estate management and make proposals for adaptation into policies
• Assist in the implementation of circularity or resource management plans

Salary:

• Up to $5,000

Period:

• 6 Months Contract

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Location:

• Raffles Place

Requirements:

• Degree in Sustainable Built Environment, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies or fields relevant to the responsibilities listed above
• Strong understanding of Sustainable Building Design principles, Sustainable Development approaches and Energy and Carbon Abatement
• Familiar with event organization and have a passion for translating data, insights and knowledge into outcomes for the environment
• Hands-on experience with carbon footprinting and energy tabulation
• Familiar with Greenhouse Gas Protocol and relevant sustainability standards
