Job Posting for Sales Lead, corporate lending at SUMMIT TALENT PTE. LIMITED

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Lead to lead our corporate lending business in Singapore. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing corporate clients, promoting tailored lending solutions and ensuring strong relationship management and portfolio health.

You will work closely with product, credit, and risk teams to structure deals and support client business growth through effective financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive origination and structuring of corporate lending deals including working capital loans, term loans, trade finance and asset-backed financing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-to-large corporates and institutional clients
  • Lead a team of relationship managers or sales executives, setting performance goals and mentoring team members
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling other financial solutions (FX, treasury, leasing, etc.)
  • Conduct market and client analysis to understand lending demand, risks and competitor landscape
  • Collaborate with credit and risk teams to assess client creditworthiness and ensure sound lending decisions
  • Ensure all lending proposals comply with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk guidelines
  • Monitor loan performance, proactively address potential issues, and maintain portfolio quality
  • Provide periodic reporting and insights to senior management on pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field; CFA or MBA preferred
  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate banking or commercial lending, with proven deal execution experience
  • Strong knowledge of corporate credit analysis, financial structuring, and Singapore’s regulatory landscape
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced, client-centric environment

Preferred:

  • Experience working with multinational corporations, large local enterprises or mid-market clients
  • Familiarity with syndicated loans, project finance and cross-border financing
  • Exposure to ESG-linked financing and green loan frameworks
