Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to be part of our team. The successful candidate will manage costs and contracts on construction projects, ensuring the accurate pricing of materials, labor, and time. The Quantity Surveyor will also play a vital role in budget preparation, cost estimation, and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct detailed site measurements and calculations.
• Evaluate and manage project costs, providing cost control and ensuring projects stay within budget.
• Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement schedules.
• Monitor and track project progress, highlighting cost variations and taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide regular reports on cost analysis and project financials to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field (preferably in construction).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
