Planning Engineer (LTA Projects)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team for LTA road construction projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in planning road stage diversions and be proficient in using Primavera P6. This role requires close coordination with construction teams to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule while adhering to LTA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for LTA road construction projects.
• Plan and oversee the stage diversion of roads, ensuring minimal disruption to traffic and compliance with LTA guidelines.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure effective planning and execution of road diversion works.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, proposing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Prepare and present planning reports to stakeholders, including progress updates, resource requirements, and timeline adjustments.
• Collaborate with Resident Engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure that project milestones are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project specifications, particularly with regards to traffic diversions and road safety.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of relevant local experience in planning stage diversions for road construction projects.
• A Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
• Strong understanding of LTA regulations and road construction planning standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
