Job Posting for Utility Engineers (LTA Projects) at SURPASS STAFFING PTE. LTD.
We are looking for an experienced Utility Engineer to join our team for LTA road construction and utility diversion projects. The role involves managing and coordinating utility services, working closely with various authorities and agencies to ensure smooth execution of the project while minimizing disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the coordination of utility services and diversion works for road construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and LTA standards.
Liaise and coordinate with relevant authorities/agencies (e.g., PUB, SP Power, telecommunications companies) to facilitate timely execution of utility diversion works.
Supervise on-site utility works, including the installation and relocation of utilities such as water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications lines, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Work closely with the project management team to ensure the utility works are integrated smoothly with other construction activities.
Prepare and update project reports, utility plans, and schedules for submission to authorities and management.
Monitor the progress of utility works and resolve any technical issues or delays that may arise.
Ensure all utility works comply with local regulations, safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
5 years of relevant experience in road construction and coordination works with authorities/agencies on utility services and diversion works.
A Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
Strong knowledge of utility coordination processes and local regulations related to road construction and utility services.
Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including authorities, contractors, and the project team.
Ability to manage on-site utility works and solve technical issues efficiently.
