Job Posting for Construction Manager (LTA Projects) at SURPASS STAFFING PTE. LTD.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee large-scale LTA road and utility diversion projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects and possess a strong background in civil engineering. This role involves working closely with the project team to ensure that all construction activities are executed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with LTA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the construction of road and utility diversion projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and construction methodologies in line with LTA requirements.
Lead the project team and manage resources to ensure project milestones are met.
Ensure that all work complies with local regulations, LTA guidelines, and safety standards.
Proactively identify potential risks or issues and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure effective communication across all teams and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Requirements:
10 years of relevant local experience in managing road and utility diversion projects of similar scale and complexity.
A Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer, or accreditation as a Professional Project Director (PPD) by the Society of Project Managers.
Proven leadership and project management skills, with experience handling large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of local construction regulations, LTA guidelines, and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
