Cloud Business Architect

We are seeking an experienced Architect (Cloud Business) to join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting cloud-based solutions for clients, engaging in presales activities, and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and a strong ability to design and deliver effective cloud solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for guiding clients through the entire cloud journey, from initial assessments to the final implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Presales Activities: Engage with clients in presales discussions to understand their business needs and translate them into viable cloud-based solutions.
• Architecture & Design: Design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures and solutions for clients based on their specific requirements.
• Lead the creation of high-level and detailed design documents, ensuring that they meet client needs and align with best practices.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and clients to refine and validate designs, ensuring that they are implementable and cost-effective.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, technical documentation, and proposals to clients, showcasing cloud solutions and benefits.
• Evaluate and recommend the appropriate cloud services and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) based on the client’s requirements.
• Participate in client workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews to define cloud strategies.
• Assist in defining the migration strategy and roadmaps for transitioning workloads to the cloud.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of cloud solutions.
• Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations on emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure the architecture aligns with the client’s business goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or Associate Architect with expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions.
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles, best practices, and cloud-native technologies (e.g., microservices, containers, serverless).
• Experience in presales, including scoping, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Docker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
