Junior/ Senior IT System Administrator (Perm Role)

Responsibilities:

• Manage AWS Cloud Instances and KVM infrastructure, including virtual machines, clusters, and storage. Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal virtualization capabilities.
• Maintain and administer database and storage systems, including provisioning, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Deploy and manage network infrastructure, ensuring seamless software deployment, updates, patching, and system hardening.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and integrations for data sharing across internal and external applications using Python, SQL, and related tools.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies (GPOs), and domain controllers, ensuring secure and efficient access to network resources.
• Respond promptly to cybersecurity or system incidents. Investigate issues, provide temporary and/or permanent resolutions, and update stakeholders accordingly.
• Review network security processes and procedures. Evaluate and test security tools and products.
• Provide operational guidance, training materials, and troubleshooting documentation for internal and external users.
• Ensure timely and quality support delivery in accordance with project SLAs.
• Support application deployment activities and related infrastructure readiness.
• Gather logs and information requested by Level 3 (L3) teams to aid in ticket resolution.
• Conduct daily infrastructure monitoring and document technical processes and configurations.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS Cloud technologies, KVM virtualization, networking, and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proficiency in scripting or coding languages such as Python, Bash, Windows Batch,PowerShell, and SQL.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security best practices.
• Experience in daily monitoring and documentation of COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) infrastructure and product configurations.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, RHEL Administrator or other related certifications would be a plus
