HR Director (Leisure & Recreation)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of all HR functions, including the review and monitoring of policies, processes, systems, and related initiatives.
• Design and drive the execution of HR strategies and action plans to attract, engage, and retain top talent.
• Ensure HR initiatives and talent strategies are aligned with business objectives, supporting leadership and employee development, as well as succession planning for key and critical roles.
• Partner with Business Unit leaders to maintain strategic alignment and consistency across all HR-related activities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, policy formulation, and key decision-making.
• Monitor emerging trends and proactively recommend initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a strong, positive organizational culture.
• Formulate new HR policies and/or update existing ones, along with related tools and processes, to remain agile and responsive to evolving business needs and work environments.
• Lead change management initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring clear communication with employees and key stakeholders throughout the process.
• Mentor and guide HR teams, setting a strong example and fostering a high-performance culture focused on delivering a superior employee experience.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Degree holder
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the Leisure & Recreation industry will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels
