Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement business development strategies for automotive financing that aligns with company goals
Identify and pursue new market opportunities to grow market share
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, financial institutions, industry partners and regulators
Serve as the primary contact for strategic clients and partners
Sales & Revenue
Drive revenue and profitability through innovative financing solutions
Lead sales planning and deal execution, including retail and fleet segments
Explore new sales channels to expand the reach of the company’s automotive financing products
Deal Structuring & Negotiation
Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with regulations
Oversee deal structuring in line with risk and legal standards
Leadership
Mentor and manage a team of business development executives
Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to MAS and internal compliance standards
Track performance metrics and report to senior management
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Business, Finance, or related field
7–10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years experience in automotive finance
Proven success in strategic partnerships and deal-making
Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
Familiarity with Hire Purchase and MAS regulations
