Allegis is a leading provider of technology consulting, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a highly motivated Front End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore to consult with a global financial services client.

About The Role

You will be joining a high-calibre technology team that is building a new web-based User Interface with new components for applications across multiple different products.

This role is ideal for an individual with 5 to 7 years of experience of front-end software development.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with product team to implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed
  
  

YOU WILL HAVE

• Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience focusing on frontend software development.
• Must have proven in-depth experience in TypeScript and React or Angular/Vue.js
• This experience needs to be coding within an automated testing environment
• Experience in building rich Single Page Applications.
• Familiar with integration work with API backend.
• Knowledge in Container technologies like Kubenetes and OpenShift will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Ag-Grid or similar real-time update libraries is beneficial
• Experience in AWS S3 bucket, Elasticache Redis and Simple Queue Service is also good to have.
• Financial industry experience is a plus but not mandatory
