Maintenance Engineer (Network & Firewall)

Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable & Convertible to Permanent)
Salary: $3,000 – $4,000 Variable Bonus Night Shift Allowance

About the Role:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our growing infrastructure maintenance team. The ideal candidate will support network and firewall systems, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, troubleshooting, and upkeep of enterprise-grade hardware and software. You will also be part of a rotational night-shift support schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for network and firewall infrastructure (e.g. Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco, Nexus switches)
• Monitor ticketing system, including night shift monitoring (rotation-based, 2–3 days/week)
• Perform firmware/software upgrades, hardware swaps, small-scale deployments, and device health checks
• Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports
• Provide helpdesk support for clients as part of the broader maintenance function
• Join scheduled maintenance or patching activities (approx. once/month, weekends

Who We’re Looking For:

• Strong interest or basic experience in networking and firewall technologies
• Open to candidates from desktop/helpdesk support backgrounds looking to grow
• CCNA or similar certification is advantageous; interest in pursuing one is welcomed
• Willingness to participate in rotational night shifts
• Proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and team-oriented mindset
