Your role πΌ
The Planning & Control Officer is responsible for overseeing statistical and supervisory activities required by the Bank. This includes managing daily operations, designing financial control systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires strong analytical abilities and collaboration with key departments to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
- Oversee the daily operational management and supervisory activities of the department.
- Design, implement, and monitor financial control systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and aligning trends with organizational objectives.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and analyses to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate both internal and external audits to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with departments such as Risk Management, Compliance, Legal Affairs, and Accounting & Taxation to ensure timely submission of internal and external regulatory reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to finance operations and analyze data trends for strategic planning.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Requirements π‘
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, banking and financial services are a plus.
- Excellent analytical abilities; capable of interpreting complex data sets with precision and offering clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively at all organizational levels, including senior management, external stakeholders, and regulators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy throughout all stages, from initial data collection to final report generation and submission.
- Fluency in Italian and English, French is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks and familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting tools are a nice to have
