Stage : Data Consultant

As a Data Consultant Intern for the Data4Decisions department, you will have the opportunity to discover and participate in identifying and understanding the specific needs of our customers by combining your analytical and technical skills. You will then participate in the development of a solution that will extract customer data, transform it into clean, understandable information, and present it with the appropriate visuals to support customer decision-making.

Unlike long-term management of a single client, you will be working on several clients and projects at the same time, in sectors as varied as healthcare and construction. This internship will offer you a wide variety of tasks and stimulating challenges on a daily basis.

During your internship, and following training provided by our experts, you will take part in various activities, such as :

• Collecting data from customers and generating reports and dynamic dashboards from this data
• Analysing and assessing the customer's functional needs for their specific requirements
• Contributing to the technical implementation of these specific requests
• Monitor projects under the supervision of project managers
• Work closely with consultants and developers
• Manage metadata on the BI and Data Warehouse environment
• Improve and optimise the back-end and front-end of our products

Must-have :

• Master's student, ideally in management engineering with option Data, Business Analytics, Digital Business, ...
• Knowledge of databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)
• Willingness to immerse yourself in the technologies of business intelligence, Big Data, data science and strategy execution management
• Good problem-solving, organisational and listening skills
• Affinity for IT in the broadest sense
• Very good analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Curious, resourceful, self-taught, versatile

Nice-to-have :

• Bilingualism in French and Dutch would be an asset
