Description:

We are seeking an SAP BI Developer to support our SAP BI product within our Elia Group product organization. The service will be responsible for all technical-related product questions. Together with the product and the key users the service will identify and implement the best solution to serve the customer.

the service will work on the prioritized activities within the product from requirements management, including technical implementation, up to the go live. Active consultancy in requirement management is demanded. The requirements should be critically challenged to ensure that the sustainability and maintainability of the technical solutions are kept in mind alongside customer needs.

As part of a product team the service will be responsible for the further technical evolution of the BI landscape including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BO for entities in two different countries.

As an SAP BI developer, the service needs to take care of the following tasks:

- Implementation of SAP BI requirements for the Elia Group BI landscape BW/4HANA, BPC11, SAP BO and SAC

- Documentation of developments as well as the handover of the development results to 50Hertz and Elia

- Perform data analysis to ensure data quality in the SAP BI environment

- Requirements analysis and participation in the creation of requirement specifications, test support and transport of developments into the productive systems

- SAP BW and HANA Modeling

- Create and customize data extractions from SAP and non-SAP source systems

- Creating and Customizing BW Queries and SAP BO Analysis Workbooks

- Create and customize dashboards in the SAC

- Authorization management, -analysis and definition of the necessary authorizations as well as coordination with the authorization team

Requirements:

- In-depth technical understanding of the ABAP and ODATA

- Extensive experience as SAP Analytics using tools like SAP BW/4HANA incl. ABAP, Datasphere, S/4HANA incl. CDS Views, SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, BPC incl. consolidation etc.

- Good knowledge of backend and frontend are mandatory

- Extensive experience in: ABAP, data extraction, data modeling, administration of BW systems, BW query creation

- Other requirements

- Excellent analytical skills

- Good technical documentation skills

- Good communication skills

- Experience in working with the ticket tool Jira

- Team player

- Languages: English and Dutch/French/German

Additional information:

· Start: ASAP

· Work regime: full time

· Location: the team is working from the Sablon and Empereur building in the center of Brussels (near Central station). 2 days per week on-site in Brussels are mandatory, up to 3 days remote possible. Travelling 1-3 days to Berlin per year may be part of the assignment.
