Role Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant to provide architectural support in change and transformation projects within the finance domain. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial systems and processes are aligned with business goals, regulatory requirements, and architectural standards. This role is instrumental in ensuring sustainable and scalable finance architectures in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide architectural leadership and guidance in finance-related change initiatives and projects.
Analyze current finance systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities and drive architectural enhancements.
Align finance architecture with enterprise architecture standards and long-term strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, IT, and business functions to design future-proof solutions.
Support project teams in implementation, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment throughout the change lifecycle.
Translate complex requirements into practical, scalable, and efficient architectural designs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial systems, architecture trends, and emerging technologies.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, IFRS, US GAAP).
Essential Skills:
Proven experience (10 years) in finance and accounting with a strong background in architectural support within transformation or change programs.
Deep understanding of financial systems and ERP architecture, particularly in SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
Strong ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into system and process architecture.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, RPA, or cloud-based finance systems.
Involvement in digital finance transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
