Fire Alarm Technician CFAA Certified

We are seeking skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technicians with a full CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) certification to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inpecting, testing and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the highest safety standards fro our clients. The ideal candidates have strong technician skills, are detail-oriented, and are committed to providing excellent service!

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and high-rise residential properties.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm equipment according to CFAA standards and local codes.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications as required by safety regulations and client needs.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of service calls, inspections, and repairs.
• Educate clients on fire safety and system operation; provide excellent service and support.

Qualifications:

• CFAA Certification is required.
• 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician is preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics, and familiar with various fire alarm systems and brands.
• Knowledge of related codes and standards (CAN/ULC, NFPA, etc.)
• Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
• Ability to work well with team members of unsupervised within a flexible work environment.
• Walk, stand, bend, stoop and/or lifting up to 50lbs when required.
• Climb ladders, work from manlifts, and tolerate heights as required.
