FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

About the Position:

The Family Support Worker provides direct and personal family support, prevention, and respite/special needs
services to Citizens and their families in Old Crow. The position is responsible for coordinating and making clients
aware of various programs and services and manages the Safe House.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a social work or human services related field, or an equivalent combination of
training and experience.
  • Experience accessing and navigating community social institutions and systems.
  • Experience working with children and families; in an indigenous northern community is an asset.
