Title: Electronics PCBA Technician
Location: Waukegan
Hourly: $25-$28
Hours: 6am-2:30 PM or 7am-3:30 PM
We are currently seeking an Electronics PCBA Technician who will be responsible for all aspects of circuit board inspection, all facets of testing, including Programming, In-Circuit Test (ICT), Functional Test (FT), and Calibration. Technicians will also setup and operate test fixtures and efficiently troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and mechanical assemblies
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform inspection and testing and repair of circuit boards received and/or assembled, using approved testing procedures and schematics
Repairs circuit boards that fail inspecting and testing as needed
Records type and quantity of defective circuit boards and notifies QA Manager by issuing a CAR Read, follow and execute PCB test procedures
Support Production, Repair and Engineering
Calibration of electronics testing standards
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Electronic Trade School Certification
The ability/skill to troubleshoot PCB’s to component level using various test equipment
Requires 3 - 5 years Technician experience in electronics manufacturing environment
Test Equipment – Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, Frequency Generators, Digital Analyzer
Electronic and Mechanical Hand Tools
The ability to read electronic schematics
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry
Knowledge of electronic components identification
Knowledge of trouble shooting procedures
Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office products; keyboard typing

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
