Summary Description: Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking experienced attorneys with Commercial Litigation expertise to join its Miami office. Litigation Associates have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, highly experienced legal practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment.

  • Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
  • Possesses strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
  • Demonstrates an ability to work independently and productively and show a strong interest in advancing a career in litigation
  • Produces quality legal work and bills the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client services
  • Manages business and assists in the generation of business through group and individual efforts
  • Complies with the very highest ethical standards of the legal profession

Required Education: Juris Doctor

Preferred Education: graduate of a Top 25 law school, or a graduate in the top 10% of graduating class from an accredited law school; positions on law school’s premier law journal a plus

Required Licenses and/or Certifications: Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements

Preferred Experience: 3 years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm, bilingual/multilingual speaker

Supervisory Responsibilities: Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction

Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer

Travel Required: Generally, less than 10%, however, this will be case specific and may, at times, involve more travel.
