Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and project oversight, with a proven ability to build accurate cost estimates for various projects. Proficiency in Matterport and Xactimate is required for this role. This position is crucial in ensuring that our projects are completed within budget and on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
• Use Matterport and Xactimate to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to cost control measures.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.
• Prepare and present bid proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism in communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience in estimating or a related field, with a strong understanding of management principles.
• Proficiency in estimating software, including HeavyBid, Matterport, and Xactimate.
• Strong knowledge of cost control methods and project management practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Effective negotiation skills with experience in contract discussions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail in all documentation.
