POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of eCommerce is an experienced strategic leader in charge of supervising and enhancing the full digital experience that On The Edge Brands offers to its consumers and employees. This individual serves as the organization's digital advocate, driving alignment on digital capabilities to reduce customer friction and improve the customer experience. This leader is a digital strategist with extensive expertise developing B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms from the ground up and scaling them to successful P&Ls. This leader will create and manage the roadmap for digital goods such as websites, apps, and other online platforms, as well as evolve the tools to add commerce capabilities. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, user experience design, digital product design, technology implementation, and encouraging digital adoption among employees and consumers. OBJECTIVES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create a digital experience strategy and timeline that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives over multiple years.
- Create an eCommerce plan of action for existing customers to place orders via website and customer portal.
- Create the future digital vision for the organization while managing daily performance to support growth goals through high-quality leads, traffic conversion, and other digital engagement techniques.
- Analyze current and future B2B consumer trends and use market changes to test new ecommerce concepts and technology. Incorporate results to improve the eCommerce plan.
- Develop plans and tactics to increase customer awareness and usage of digital tools.
- Track and report on the usage of features and capabilities and adjust efforts to speed up acceptance.
- As a hands-on leader, you will oversee the integration of technology solutions such as content management systems, e-commerce platforms, customer portals and apps, configurator tools, Salesforce CRM, and other operational digital solutions that will drive consistency in experience and operational efficiencies.
- Evaluate current systems, processes, and personnel to identify possibilities for process improvement, ensure continual improvement on performance insights, and capture and incorporate real-time customer trends, data, and insights into the ecommerce design and solution.
- Collaborating with IT, marketing, customer service, finance, product, and operations to identify requirements and gain stakeholder support for eCommerce plan and solutions.

- Foster a high-performing team and culture through clear communication, continual coaching, and effective performance management.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, computer science, business, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
- 15 years of increasing experience developing digital products for online, app, or other platforms like eCommerce or similar roles.
- A tech-savvy business strategist with experience in Salesforce development and implementation of digital solutions.
- A history of overseeing and collaborating with internal software development teams, creating deliverables and scope of work, and taking responsibility for outcomes.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities, including the capacity to interpret complex data.
- The capacity to create strong business arguments for digital transformation that gain executive support for digital projects.
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities. This person must clearly and effectively explain our digital strategy, roadmap, and benefits for consumers and staff members.
- Demonstrated capacity to influence strategic decisions and engage in negotiations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and direct a group.
- The capacity to work together with senior leaders across a range of roles to promote organizational alignment and commitment to digital platforms.
