Job Title: Systems Analyst 3
Location: Austin, TX 78751
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Work Arrangement: 3 days remote and 2 days onsite (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Job Description
The Systems Analyst 3 will:
- Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform studies with cost/benefit analysis.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems.
- Collaborate with personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify issues, and determine specific input and output requirements such as data input formats, summarization needs, and report formats.
- Document detailed user requirements, program functions, and steps required for development or modification of computer programs.
- Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine the feasibility of requested program changes.
Candidate Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- 6 years of cloud experience (strongly preferred).
- 4 years of front-end development experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React JS (strongly preferred).
- 4 years of back-end development experience with Python (strongly preferred).
- 4 years of cloud web application development experience using AWS technologies such as AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and serverless services (strongly preferred).
- 4 years of database development experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar (strongly preferred).
- 4 years of DevOps experience.
- 4 years of proficiency in cloud-based network configuration and troubleshooting.
- 4 years of experience with container technologies.
- 1 year of excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- 1 year of a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.
