We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will ensure that all installations are completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Install windows and doors according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of installations.
- Fabricate components as needed for custom installations.
- Conduct glass installation with precision, ensuring safety and durability.
- Hang doors accurately, adjusting for fit and function.
- Execute frame carpentry tasks to support window and door installations.
- Utilize power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Lift heavy materials as required during the installation process.
- Install cabinets as part of comprehensive remodeling projects when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
Experience
Candidates should possess a background in construction or a related field with experience in window and door installation. Familiarity with the following skills is essential:
- Blueprint reading
