This Role:
Our collaborative sales organization is seeking an experienced Sales Enablement Manager. This would be a hybrid (2-3 days/week) role located at our Kentwood, MI Innovation Center reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales Operations. This role may require some travel (up to 20% - mostly national).
What You Will Do:
The Sales Enablement Manager will provide support to the sales team, managing various processes and projects so as to help the organization maximize the impact of their sales efforts. The Sales Enablement Manager will provide sales leaders and representatives with learning materials, content, resources and assets to drive growth and success. Partnering within and outside the greater sales team, the enablement manager will develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions for effective transformation of the sales process.
Success in this role will be measured by overall sales/business impact as well as quality of solutions and cross-functional collaboration.
How You Will Do It:
- Define and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy, aligned with overall business goals.
- Work with sales leadership to develop, execute, optimize and assess enablement program.
- Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing and product teams. Work closely with marketing to create relevant content for lead generation and with product management to stay updated on product roadmaps and upcoming releases.
- Develop and manage sales collateral for various product categories and channel partners.
- Communicate enablement strategy and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide effective onboarding and training programs for sales reps.
- Coordinate educational content for ongoing training.
- Facilitate content creation and use with sales and marketing teams.
- Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on the enablement strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current work authorization within the U.S. without requiring future visa sponsorship (required)
- Bachelor’s level education or additional years of applicable work experience (required)
- Previous work experience within a sales enablement or sales learning and development role (strongly preferred)
- Excellent project management and communication skills (required)
- Familiarity with the following is preferred:
- 2-step distribution sales models
- building products
- content and/or learning management systems
